Valentine Sock Cupcake

Looking for the perfect craft for teens or tweens to try this Valentine’s Day season!  Take your teen or tween over to your local dollar store, and let her grab a pair of Valentine’s Day socks.  They can make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, especially when you use them to create these Valentine’s Day sock cupcakes. Is your teen or tween ready to start?  Here’s how you can make your own Valentine’s Day sock cupcake!

Supplies needed:
Paper cupcake cups (your choice of color, we used Valentine’s Day themed)
Valentine’s Day socks
Small red or pink pom pom

We found everything we needed at our local Dollar Tree store.

Directions:
1. Begin by folding your sock in half long ways.
2. Now, roll the sock up like you would a jelly roll. Try to wrap it tightly so it stays snuggly together.
3. Once the sock is wrapped tightly, you can use a piece of clear tape to seal the end. If you wrap it tight enough, tape may not be needed.
4. Place the rolled sock in the cupcake cup. Add a red or pink pom pom on top to look like a cherry.

Your Valentine’s Day sock cupcake is now ready for gift giving or for decorating your teen’s/tween’s space.  Of course, you will want to give your sweetheart or friend two of these “sweet treats”, so they have a sock for each foot!
