Several years ago, I made the leap from a point-and-shoot to a DSLR camera.  I had used my point and shoot for several years but felt I was ready to make the leap to a DSLR.  I bought a Canon Rebel T2i, and if I remember correctly, I bought it from Best Buy.  I love shopping at Best Buy because there are so many options, and the employees are always so knowledgeable.

It was a learning curve getting used to my Canon DSLR camera because I was used to a point and shoot, but soon, I was taking some great pictures to use on the blog.  Occasionally, I get lazy and use my iPhone to take pictures, but my favorite thing is to use my Canon.

Now, Canon is on the Rebel T5i.  (I sure would love to upgrade, but I do love my current camera very much!)  Best Buy is suggesting the Canon Rebel T5i for the following reasons:

  • Capture Hollywood caliber full HD video
  • Continuous autofocus while taking HD video
  • Features an 18.0-megapixel CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 5 image processor to ensure vivid, crystal-clear images
  • The 3″ vari-angle touch screen simplifies navigation.

But why do I like my Canon Rebel?

Because I can grab pictures of cute animals like this on our vacation!  We were looking at the marine animals, and this little guy kept coming up to the window to interact with Marvel Boy.  Marvel Boy had so much fun watching him swim back and forth to come up to see eye to eye.  I love how my camera was able to focus through the aquarium glass.

I love my Canon and hope to upgrade to a new Canon in the future!  If you are interested in buying a Canon Rebel T5i soon, check out Best Buy’s coupon:
