Thank you to PassPorter for sending me a free copy of PassPorter’s Walt Disney World 2014!
It’s no secret that we LOVE Disney! We also love to plan our trips to Disney parks in great detail. Well, maybe not to the great detail that Disney now wants us to plan… Anyway, one of my favorite sources for planning is the PassPorter’s Walt Disney World! This is a unique book in that it provides lots of places for jotting down the details of my upcoming trip. Oh, and make sure to click on each photo below, so you can see the pages a little better.
The PassPorter goes way beyond just an overview of the parks. I love that there are maps included, and look at the color! We all know that maps change over time, but so do the maps we get from Disney. The Walt Disney World PassPorter is updated yearly, so things stay pretty up-to-date.
PassPorter is known for the ratings it gives on everything from dining to attractions to resorts. What I like the most is that the ratings is broken down by age. Will kids enjoy it but not adults? Will adults have a great time but not kids? Jennifer Marx takes her family on the road to test it out for the readers. What a rough job! 😉 Anyway, after reading this book, you will come away with a better picture of what might be a great fit for your family.
The PassPorter also has lists for keeping your trip straight from budgeting to travel details. It is nice to have all the details in one place. Another great thing about the PassPorter is that if you buy it from their website, you get access to a download of it to read while you wait for the book to arrive in the mail. Honestly, I LOVE having the copy to have on my mobile device! That way, I can look things up while I’m at work (on break, of course).
Do you buy the dining plan? The PassPorter even has a page to plan your credit usage or keep track of it while you are there. Honestly, I like to plan it out LOOSELY in advance, but I don’t normally carry a lot into the park. This is another great reason for the download I mentioned above. Seriously, we do know the whole plan where you want to eat 6 months in advance part. The page on the right is a place to write down your Advance Dining Reservation numbers and info as you make them. If you are anything like me, you will want to use a pencil, so you can change the information if you decide to change your reservations.
At the end of the book are these great pockets! These are designed to contain your memories from day-to-day. There is information to fill out that will remind you of your trip for years to come. Also, you can put any slips of paper that you want to keep in the pockets. Things that I have kept: receipts, stickers, hard-ticket media. Really, the PassPorter is more than just a guidebook. It is a combination of a guidebook and journal that you can keep for years to come!
PassPorter updates their Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line books every year. I can’t wait to see the next edition of their Disney Cruise Line book as I hear it may be in color… If you would like to purchase your own PassPorter, visit their online store!
Disclosure: I received a free copy of the above book. I received no other compensation, nor was I required to post a positive review. I personally use PassPorters for my own trips. All opinions are mine.
