While planning our trip to Walt Disney World, I look for ways to reunite with DS9, in case we get separated. He is a wanderer, always has been, so try to keep a close eye on him. However, in a place as big and crowded as a Disney (or other) theme park, it can be easy to get separated. In the past, we have written our contact information on a Mickey head paint chip from Home Depot, laminated it, and put it on a string, so he could wear it around his neck. This method irrated him because it needed to be kept under his shirt. I was determined to find a better method for this trip.
After an extensive Internet search, I stumbled across TigTagz. TigTagz makes some colorful personalized wristbands that you can have your contact information or your child’s allergy information printed on. You can also get them blank and use a permanent marker to write the information yourself. Personally, I like the information printed by them, so it is easy to read.
Unfortunately, these wristbands were not an option for DS9 because the wristbands are definitely kid-sized, fitting 6.25 – 6.5 inch wrists. However, I did find a product on TigTagz that could help us. Iron-on labels. These labels are really meant for labelling clothing with a child’s name, but I figured it would work for phone numbers. I asked that my cell number, and Don’s too, be printed on the labels. Then, I ironed these labels on the inside of one sleeve on each of his T-shirts. This way, if he is separated, he can go to a Cast Member and ask for help to call us. These iron-on labels will really give us peace of mind.
TigTagz has offered to give ONE lucky reader a set of personalized wristbands. {Size of set to be determined by prize sponsor.}

I’ve never heard of these tags before, but they would work well for us. We go to Sea World a lot during the year and will the kids being so little I want to make sure it’s easy for us to find each other if we’re ever separated. Thank you for this review.

These are a really cute idea. I think they are definitely something that will help with being able to find the kids if they get lost.
