It is the ABCs of Homeschooling over at 5 Kids and a Dog, and today, we are on the letter “O”. What a great letter! In our homeschool, “O” is for…
Nature is where we love to do most of our observation, so I thought that I would use a few of our nature pictures to make a few observations.
Sometimes, you need to pull your head up to see what is going on around you.
While you need to keep watch around you, you still need to watch your step.
Don’t feed the wildlife! They might bite or keep coming back for more food.
There are many things in nature that are prickly, but sometimes you find something that is soft just like cotton.
You don’t always have to do your hair just so because you look great just the way you are!
Sometimes, God will show you something beautiful and spectacular if you just stand still and observe.
When observing in nature, always remember:
- Take nothing but pictures.
- Leave nothing but footprints.
- Waste nothing but time.

Great photos! Especially love the one with the duck with the “pom pom hairdo.” I had a chicken that had a tuft of feathers on its head. It was one my favorite chickens – such a gentle bird. Brought back great memories looking at the photos you shared. Thanks!
