Tune Keeper
Last year, I was introduced to Picture Keeper. Picture Keeper is like a thumb drive (or a small external drive) to back up the photos on my computer. I LOVE my Picture Keeper, and it saved my behind when my computer crashed this fall! It’s nice to have a small drive that houses all my photos and backs them up automatically when I plug the drive in. Picture Keeper has branched out from pictures to tunes, videos, and business.
I was sent a 32 GB Tune Keeper to try out. 32 GB is the largest Tune Keeper they make, and I wondered if it would be enough for the massive music library we have amassed over the years.
See how small the Tune Keeper is? It’s about the same size as a thumb drive.
So, I plugged the Tune Keeper into the back of our iMac. Keep in mind that Tune Keepers are compatible with both PC and Mac.
It didn’t take long for the software to load and prompt me to start the back up.
Soon, the Tune Keeper was searching for our music to back up. I was surprised that all of our music fit on this Tune Keeper. Well, it barely fit. The good thing, though, is that when it is full, I can just get another Tune Keeper, and it will pick up backing up where my current one leaves off.
If you are looking for a great Christmas gift, try out a Tune Keeper. The 32 GB Tune Keeper goes for $129.99. If you are looking for a stocking stuffer, check out the simple 4GB Picture Keeper drive. You can get 4 of the 4 GB Picture Keepers for $49.99. If you want a single 4 GB Picture Keeper, you can find one for $29.99 here.
My thoughts? I love having the ability to back up our music that we paid so much money for over the years. I’ve had too many computer failures and want to make sure I don’t lose any of the music or photos.
Disclosure: I received the above items free of charge. All opinions are mine.
